Tax Planning Analysis: Centralization of Documentation System for Evidence of Income Tax Income (PPH) Article 23 for the Purpose of Corporation Income Tax Saving (Case Study at “X” Corp. in Bandung) Yoga Tantular Rachmana, Lilik Handayanib, a,bEconomic Faculty, Widyatama University, Indonesia Email: Yoga.tantular@widyatama.ac.id Article 23 of Income Tax is a tax that is not final and is deducted by another party. Based on the proof of deduction, the deduction of income tax article 23 becomes a tax credit at the Corporate Income Tax at the end of the tax year. However, in practice, especially in large-size service companies that have branches to remote areas such as in PT X as examined, this tax credit can be less than optimal. This study aims to find out how to optimize the crediting of PPh 23 in order to save corporate income tax. The research method in this study uses quantitative descriptive methods. The researcher conducted an analysis to obtain a real picture of optimizing the crediting of Article 23 Income Tax in saving the corporate income tax by PT "X". The results showed that the crediting of Article 23 Income Tax could be lost due to delay or loss of documents that must be received. Through the centralized evidence proofing system that we compiled and proposed, the amount of delay and loss of the withholding tax Article 23 document that occurred at the branch office was avoided so that the crediting of Article 23 Income Tax could be optimized. Designing an IoT-Based Smart Ambulance Platform in Cimahi City Helmy Faisal Muttaqina, Ari Purno Wahyu Wibowob, a,bEngineering Faculty Widytama University, Indonesia Email: h elmy.faisal@widyatama.ac.id The current ambulance service is managed via conventional methods that are inefficient in helping the people of Cimahi city. The ambulance service is governed by each village, so that if their ambulance is currently in use the queue cannot be transferred to another unused ambulance belonging to a nearby village. This is poor optimisation of a service which requires urgent deployment and maximum efficiency. This paper proposes an IoT-based smart ambulance platform which includes IoT devices, service-oriented architecture, and an Android-based interface to maximize ambulance service efficiency. It is expected that with this platform, the management of ambulance alerts can reach all people who need help without being limited by the limitations of their village. Pages 100 to 111 |

English Proficiency Level, Internet Speed and Economic Improvement in Indonesia (2015-2018) Heri Heryonoa, Hero Gunawanb, a,bWidyatama University, Indonesia, Email: heri.heryono@widyatama.ac.id English proficiency is rarely discussed among the general public as it only impacts upon a small group of people who use English in their occupation. In Indonesia, graduates commonly lack English communicative competence. This research identifies several factors that should be contributing to, or triggering an, elevation of English proficiency but they are not. These factors are partially divided into the elements of internet speed and economic growth in Indonesia. The research was conducted by withdrawing a conclusion and making assumptions as to the conditional factors that related to the levelling of English proficiency among students and the general society in Indonesia from 2015 to 2018. The data was taken from several resources that provided statistical information and the results shown in this research are graphic, chart, and description analysis. The level of English proficiency in Indonesia from 2015 to 2018 has significantly fluctuated, yet the final result was the degradation. Based on the EPI index, it can be concluded that from 2015 to 2018, the level of English proficiency slightly decreased 1.16 points from 52.74 to 51.58 in 2018, or it was about 2.2% decline. This condition was inversely proportional to the internet speed improvement that increased by approximately 63% and economic development which reached 0.29% from 2015 to 2018. It can be inferred that internet speed and economic growth in Indonesia does not affect English proficiency. English is the global language and is commonly used in communication through integrated media and in global business transactions. Pages 112 to 124 |

The Influence of Minimum Wages on the Unemployment Level in Islamic Economic Perspectives in West Java Province Ingrid Larasati Agustinaa, Diah Andarib, Citra Marianac, a,b,cFaculty of Economics, Widyatama University, Email: ingrid.larasati@widyatama.ac.id This research is motivated by the number of unemployed people in West Java Province. According to data obtained from the BPS of West Java Province, the unemployment rate in February 2019 decreased to 7.73%. The unemployment is caused by several indicators that influence it, one of which is the minimum wage. Minimum payments that always rise every year should be able to reduce the number of unemployed people in West Java Province; the higher the minimum wage, the more significant a company's contribution to recruiting workers who can match the wages given. It will reduce the number of unemployed. This study analyses the influence of minimum wages on the unemployment rate in West Java Province from the perspective of Islamic economics. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using regression analysis. The data used in this study was data obtained from secondary data from BPS West Java Province. The data has been analyzed using SPSS. Overall the results of the study show that the minimum wage does not significantly influence the unemployment rate in the province of West Java. This is because when wages rise, the output also issued increases so the company will not need to increase labour numbers. In the perspective of Islamic economics, every Muslim is required to work so that there is no unemployment, as well as every region must set a reasonable minimum wage. The conclusion is that payments must be sufficient; not too low for workers and not too high for entrepreneurs and good population growth. It can be a good indicator of the economy in an Islamic region. Pages 149 to 158 |

Do Product Features and Brand Image Influence Consumers’ Decision to Purchase the Suzuki Ignis in Bandung Indonesia? Irma Nilasaria, Mohd Haizam Mohd Saudib, a,bWidyatama University, Bandung, Indonesia, Email: irma.nilasari@widyatama.ac.id Since it was launched in Q2-2017, Suzuki Ignis has gained success to become a market leader in the city-car segment, defeating the Honda Brio in Indonesia by the end of 2018. Unfortunately, compared to the same quarter last year, Ignis sales for Q1-2019 is on the decline; down by almost 60%. The competition in the city-car segment is fierce because many players compete in a small market. Competing on price, promotion, and distribution channel are not suggested for this segment, because of the characteristics of the target markets and the existence of big brand names. In order to achieve market share, players should focuses on other variables, which is the product itself. The present study tries to test whether product feature and brand image (as part of the product) will influence customers to purchase the Suzuki Ignis. The present study developed, distributed, and collected questionnaires from 161 respondents who bought the Ignis in the city of Bandung. By using factor analysis and multiple regression analysis, the present study found that consumers purchase decision for the Ignis is significantly affect by product features (in negative sign) and brand image (in positive sign). Interestingly, all dimensions of brand image do not significantly affect the purchase decision, except for economic values. Pages 256 to 267 |

The Impact of Macroeconomics towards Islamic Banking Third Party Funds in Indonesia Lia Amaliawiatia, Yana Hendayanab, Tetty Lasniroha Sarumpaetc, a,b,cBusiness and Management Faculty Widyatama University, Indonesia Email: lia.amaliawiati@widyatama.ac.id This study discusses the impact of macroeconomic variables collected by economic growth, inflation, and interest against party funds collected by Islamic banks in Indonesia, both in the long and short term. The data used is quarterly time series data from 2006 Q1 to 2018 Q4, after stationarity testing, it turns out that the non-stationary data is then fermented and becomes stationary at I (0) and at I (1), then the cointegration test is performed; the dependent variable and independent variables are not cointegrated, so that the model is suitable using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. The Result obtained from macroeconomic variables have a long period or can be determined on third party funds in Islamic banks, where most of the variables are interest rates and inflation rates. For short-term analysis, the results of the analysis of inflation and interest rate positively impact on third party funds in Islamic banks in Indonesia, while economic growth is not related to third party funds in Islamic banks in Indonesia.
